Meet Alexandra, a music lover from Montreal.
"My name is Alexandra, I am 21 years old and I just graduated from Trebas Institute in the Music Business Administration program. I am a huge fan of music, as you can tell, I studied it to eventually become an artist manager. I've been working in the music industry for the past year as an artist manager and I have worked with several artists here in Montreal. I am currently studying Digital Marketing, I love learning new things and I always try to push myself to achieve greater goals
What is the soundtrack to your life?

That's a really hard question to answer, I just feel like I have so many memories as a kid. It goes from Rihanna to Shakira to Alicia Keys to Nelly Furtado. I remember this specific moment, me and my siblings were listening to MuchMusic and "Pon De Replay" by Rihanna came on and we all got so excited we jumped and started dancing.
Another good memory is when "No Air" by Jordin Sparks came out, it would always play on the radio. My sisters had this tiny radio in their room and they would always have it in the background. Every time this song would come up, we would turn up the radio and sing it out loud, each one had their own verse, we still remember it all.

What is the most annoying song in the world?

I think the most annoying song would be "Gangnam Style" by Psy. I know this song had a lot of success but I feel like it was overplayed, I would hear it everywhere.

What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?

I was talking about that with a friend of mine and I was telling her that if I was listening to a song for the first time, I would focus on the beat and then the second time hearing it I would focus on the lyrics. I find that they are both very important for me, they complete one another. Sometimes the beat is super good but I don't feel any connection to the words, but also sometimes the lyrics are amazing but the beat not so much. A good song for me would be well written with an amazing beat, something original.
Favorite artist?

My all-time favorite artist would be Ariana Grande, I've been a huge fan of hers since the very beginning of her musical career. I personally think that she has the most amazing vocal range in the pop music industry at the moment.

If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be? (Dead or alive)

Alive - Ariana Grande, she has a great sense of humor and I admire her work ethic.
Dead - Whitney Houston, I would love to ask her to sing, I honestly wish I could've seen her perform live.
Last concert?
The last concert I've been to was Ariana Grande's Sweetener World Tour. She came to Montreal on April 1st, it was my third time seeing her perform live. I've been to multiple concerts but Ariana's concerts are always the best ones. Her presence on stage, her interacting with the fans, great choreography and vocals are out of this world.
