Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
That's a tough one, I would have to pick a few albums that got me through points in my life and at times helped shape my career. I would say Jay-z's "The Blueprint 1&2" & "The Black Album," Nas' "I Am..." & "Stillmatic," Lil Wayne's "Carter 1,2 &3" 2Pac's "Until The End Of Time," "All Eyez On Me" & Better Dayz," and DMX's "Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood" "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot" & "The Great Depression." These albums are very close to me, I could never just pick one over the other. It would be like choosing between parents who treat you equally.
What is the best concert you’ve ever been to and why?
The Best Performance I've ever been to was one of my own. Performing in Dallas, Texas I believe it was for the first time. Nothing beats your own performance and you are talking to a guy that got to see the live performances of Luther Vandross and DMX. This particular night I was on it and I killed the performance. People were just hearing the music for the first time, packed up to the stage and was singing the record by the time the hook came around the 2nd time.
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?
That would have to be Jay-Z. History has shown when he collaborates with a singer great things happen every time.
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
This might be the toughest question of the interview so far. I guess it would have to be Jay-Z again. I think he is the only artist that would fully understand me. Being successful in all areas the same as I have, and of course he has been far more successful so that's an opportunity to figure out how he managed to climb to those heights beyond me. I would want to talk lyrics, production, marketing, promotion, being an executive and everything in between that.
What is the last song you listened to?
Tory Lanez featuring Lil Wayne and Rich The Kid with the Talk To Me Remix.
