Till you come back home

Till you come back home

Meet Nick, a 18 year old Spotify playlist curator from Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz…
“My nickname is, 'Demme'. I live for my family, my closest friends and my motorcycle (or anything with an engine). I'd rather have 2 friends I can count on than 100 'friends' who are away when you need them. I like to post the best of my life on Instagram, mostly of my motorcycle to be honest - it's a part of my life. ”

When & why did you make your playlist?

First of all I made this playlist through 2016-17. The relationship with my ex ended and I just wanted to listen to good and situation describing songs. There are all phases of an ending relationship including from being afraid of being alone, hating yourself because you think you are the reason, to fuck it - it's over and I'm happy, I'm better than this.

Describe your playlist. Perfect situation(s) for jamming include:

In the car, alone. You go through this phase with every song. I didn't listen to that playlist for a long time, I even forgot about... I have so many playlists because I'm listening to them until I can't hear any of the songs anymore.

What was the best concert you've ever attended and why? (Include as many details as you'd like: city / venue / when / with whom...)

Kontra K at Trier (Germany). He's an amazing german artist. I love his lyrics and his music is so fucking motivational for every life situation.

What kind of music / artists did you grow up listening to?

I guess the classic charts, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Pitbull & Flo Rida.

Who are your all-time favorite artists and why?

I think it's Kontra K. He is so successful. He is real, everything he is singing is the truth (and motivational). He isn't talking about any other person badly and he's just doing his thing and living his life. It isn't how much money he made, how many girls he has or anything. He made his way from the street to the top and he apologizes for the mistakes he's made.
