Meet William, A Spotify Playlist Curator from Norway!
“ I have always had that passion to discover new music and to find these undiscovered gems and arrange them together in a playlist for people and myself to enjoy. I love the personal curated playlists, you get to discover music on a much more personal level and I have always enjoyed sharing my music with friends family.”

What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?

My dad used to burn CD mixtapes for me that I would listen to all the time on my CD player in my room. I discovered a lot of different genres everything from classics such as ABBA, Queen and a-ha to Rock, Pop and electronic music. I was really into pop music as a young kid, I remember as a young kid going home from school and watching music videos on MTV.

Name one of your favorite albums of all time?

One of my favorite albums of all time must be 4x4=12 by Deadmau5, this was the album that got me into electronic dance music. I was about 10 years old when I discovered the album and I was really inspired by all the different sounds, it was like nothing I had ever heard before. The album contains a lot of different styles and sub genres within EDM and it introduced me to a whole other world of music.

What is the best concert you've ever been to?

The best concert or festival I have ever been to must be Palmesus festival 2018, it is Scandinavia's biggest beach party in the middle of the summer, in my hometown Kristiansand. The weather was amazing and you get that Ibiza feeling in Norway. The vibes was really insane I went together with some great friends and we had an amazing time. My favorite moment at the festival must be when the major got on stage and started throwing cakes together with Steve Aoki! That was just straight up a legendary moment.

What is your favorite quote?

"Best marketing strategy ever: Care" By: Garry Vaynerchuck I love this quote because I think that authenticity and relationship building is an extremely important part of business. If you actually care about the people you work with and build a strong relationship then you can reach very far. When I started out I did not have a big marketing budget and I still don't, it is because I have always been focusing on building a lot of strong friendships with the people I work with. People reach out to me all time based on a recommendation they got and that Is why I belive that caring is very important.

What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?

It would most definitely be Avicii, he has always been a huge inspiration for me and there is so many subjects that I would love to discuss together with him.
