Meet Christine, 46 years old from North Iowa
“I made this playlist because I wanted an upbeat playlist that I could listen to during the work day and in the car.”
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
Growing up, we had a cabinet style 8-track stereo combo in the living room. I remember listening to Kenny Rogers, The Carpenters, and even The Chipmunks. Music has always been a very important part of my life.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
have two favorite concert memories. The first was Goo Goo Dolls & Bon Jovi in 2003 with my 9-year-old son. It was his first concert and my 5th time seeing Bon Jovi. We won tickets thru a Denver radio station and got to stand on the side of the stage for two songs, and of course, Jon hi-fived my kid and then walked away from the screaming women with a smirk on his face. My second was Big Time Rush in 2011 at the Minnesota State Fair with my 7-year-old daughter, watching her, watching the concert and the joy that live music brought to her that first concert will always be a top memory.
Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?
I took piano lessons for several years growing up and flute for a couple of years as well, I was also in a choir for many years. But I really wish I could play the guitar.
What is your favorite quote?
"If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person."-Fred Rogers
Do you have a hidden talent?
Not sure that it is a hidden talent, but I love genealogy and family research. I also love to wander around cool, old cemeteries.
