Meet 18 year old Bethanie from NY.
“I think I was 15 when I made it, and it was summer 2015 where I was OBSESSED with reading true crime stories and ghost stories on reddit. So I was obviously easily scared by them and I couldn't go to sleep without putting music on first. I made a different playlist at first with only a few songs, but then I would wake up in the middle of the night with no music on because the playlist ended. So I made a new playlist with a bunch of songs that are easy to sleep to and I just kept adding from there!”

What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?

I grew up listening to a bunch of classic rock, punk rock etc. Basically anything you could find on the Rock Band games because my older siblings would constantly play it, and since I was too young/not good enough to play any of the instruments I would be the "lead singer" so I had to learn all the songs or else we would've lost the game!

Name one of your favorite albums of all time?

Definitely The Lumineers album "Cleopatra".

What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?

Carole King. I love her background story and her voice is such a dream, I really just want to meet her and find out her inspiration for her legendary songs.

Name your top 3 favorite artist and why?

My top favorite at the moment would have to be the band Wallows! Their music is just so fun and makes me want to drive for 12 hours straight with the windows down. My 2nd right now is The Lumineers, their songs have so much meaning behind them and I love them with my entire heart. My 3rd would definitely be Carole King, for obvious reasons.

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?

HARRY. STYLES. His concert was so full of energy (probably because it was the opening of the North American tour) and also just Kacey Musgraves was there was she's such a doll. Harry's songs are just so good and well-written you can tell he really put time and effort into them.
