Meet Kaitlin Purple, a 29-year-old from Portland, Oregon.
“There weren’t any playlists like this out there, I wanted to make a great playlist I could work out to that wasn't the traditional rap ones you find.”
Do you have a life slogan?
"Perpetual movement towards the sky" - it was said in a National Geographic documentary about trees, and it stuck around ever since I saw it probably back in 2006. Every day getting a little better, growing a little stronger.
Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
Siberia by Lights. Beautiful, acoustic as well.
Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?
I dabble with Piano, but I find the cello to be beautiful - I'd like to play one day.
What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Beartooth. Grunge-punk at its finest, at a tiny amazing venue on Hawthorne in Portland, and the crowd was just vibing. Or the one time I stumbled into a Gregory Alan Isakov secret concert in an underground bar by accident.
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
You can't deny the phenomenon of N*SYNC.
