Meet Justin Hopkins, 24 years old from Denver, Colorado.
“I never thought anyone would relate to my feelings. Now I have people from around the world reaching out and my followers keep on growing”
Why did you make your playlist?
I wanted to curate a playlist exclusively for all salons to use as well as using the psychology around music; where if you herd a song that you love you’ll always remember where you first herd it, which for my playlist would be in the salon.
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I believe by Blessed union of souls (this song is honestly the way we should all be living)
Ohh that’s hard I have a TON of favorites but the few I keep going back to over and over would be “Whoa Dakota” , & “Elley Duhé” mostly because I have constant contact with them and they are so sweet and very dear to my heart!
If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be? (Dead or alive)
Mine would be Lady Gaga I’ve loved her since day 1.
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
Purity Ring, I love their stage presence as well as the performance was so magical!!
Do you have a favorite quote?
“Some women choose to follow men, and some choose to follow their career, if your wondering which way to go; just know that your career will never wake up and tell you it doesn’t love you anymore.” - Lady Gaga
Do you play any instruments? If not, any you would love to learn?
I can play a little piano but nothing else I’m just talented in doing hair. :)
Do you have a life slogan?
You gonna learn something today!
What is the most annoying song in the world?
Baby shark (slaps hand on forehead)
What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?
This Is very hard for me simply because not only do I listen to the beat for songs that I love but I also love the lyrics if they are relateable. For instance one of my favorite songs is “fall to pieces” by Jonas steur feat. Jennefer Rene; the lyrics and the best is the BEST. Very deep but has a great dance beat to it, you can cry and dance at the same time! Lol
