Reggae Summer Beach

Reggae Summer Beach

Meet David, 37 years old from Canary Islands, Spain.
“I made this playlist after I went camping on the beach with my friends on a small island, and I wanted to put some music on the speakers.”

What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?

I grew up with the music of the 90s and 2000s. I liked all styles: from dance to old school music, to rock. That's why my mind is so open in terms of musical styles.

What is the best concert you've ever been to?

I remember one of The Prodigy's at a festival that was incredible. People went crazy because the people in charge of the festival almost canceled the remaining acts because of a strong wind. I also remember how Keith Flint gave everything at his show and we danced while the police tried to kick people out of the festival, but they could not. It was tremendous!

Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?

I try to play the guitar as best I can. Nobody taught me to play the guitar, but I have to say, I know how to play only four chords. I decided to learn to play when I was camping and I saw the girls flirting with a boy who played the guitar. So that was the moment in which I decided to learn.
