Meet Karla, a 22 year old Spotify playlist curator from León, Guanajuato, México..
“I wanted to put all those songs that make you feel like a diva and very powerful in the same playlist. So, as the name says, the songs on this playlist transmit the energy to feel this way, from Latin rhythms like J Balvin and Becki G, to something more pop like Ariana Grande or RuPaul, and rap like Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks and Sailorfag.”

Tell me a little about yourself - Do you make music? Why do you love music?

I don't make music but I don't rule out this option, I need music almost 24/7, and the great thing about music is that there is a song for every moment, everything looks better when you're accompanied by music

What is the best concert you have attended?

My tastes are varied, so I had the best experience thanks to Maya Belsitzman & Matan Ephrat and Blick Bassy

Name a song that has been on 'repeat'

Without a doubt, Con Altura de Rosalia, it became very popular and since I heard it I knew that I would listen to it in many other places

Name an artist that you have just discovered

Patrick Watson, who is a Canadian singer and songwriter of American origin, mixes cabaret pop, classical music and independent rock. 'Je te laisserai des mots' seems wonderful to me, as for the soundtrack of a movie.

If you were an artist, who would you love to collaborate and make music with?

Definitely, with oOoOO, Aphex Twin, Khruangbin, and Post Malone

What song do you know the words to, but hate to listen to?

Natti Natasha Ozuna - Criminal, just not
