Meet Olav, a 27 year old strong Spotify playlist curator/artist from Oslo, Norway.
“I wanted to collect all my moods to one playlist, and help other people find some new tunes. I get stuck sometimes on a genre, so it's good to use playlists that is doing something else than you usually are into to expand your library. Maybe you don’t like my whole playlist, but I am sure you can find a track or two that pull you in some direction.”

Who’s your favorite artist?

VERY tough question. Tyler, The Creator just put out one of the freshest albums in a while, so if I have to take a pick. But yesterday it was Trina, the day before it was Jon Hopkins.

What’s your favorite concert you’ve been to?

Since I work with shooting concerts I have a different relationship to the live scene. And I kind of wish I haven’t had the eyes I have now when I go to concerts, since I am looking at everything from the production, to the sound and where I would stand to shoot the moments that is happening.

I went to one of the Watch the Throne stops, way before I started shooting music. And that was lit.

Do you play any instruments? If not, is there one you’d like to learn?

I play some guitar, rarely now. But I used to play in a band 15 years ago, so some stuff are still there. But it would be sick to learn some more, always has a dream of slappin da bass.

What artist (dead or alive) had the biggest impact on your life?

I been all over the place, always. But AC/DC has always been with me. From the times of Jackass, or the car rides to this day. But JUSTICE and Gorillaz might be the 2 that opened my eyes the most.

Name the last album you purchased?

Since I use mostly Spotify, I haven’t bought one in a while. But buy a lot of tracks on beatport that I play if I am on the decks. AGEN WIDA with JOYRYDE and Skrillex was my last purchase. Big tune.
