What music did you listen to growing up as a kid?

As a kid growing up, I mostly listened to popular 2000’s music and a lot of R&B type of music. I often listened to popular radio stations which meant a lot of pop music.

 

If you were a singer, what current living artist would you love to collaborate with?

If I was a singer I would love to collaborate with an artist like Shawn Mendes or Camila Cabello. I think they both are very talented when it comes to making music.

 

Do you play an instrument? If no, what instrument would you love to learn?

I currently play the guitar and I’ve been playing it for around 5 years. I would really love to also learn how to play the piano.

 

What is the best concert you've ever been to?

I believe the best concert I have ever been to was the Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour. I loved how he performed each song completely differently.

 

What is your favorite quote?

Do you have any hidden talents?

It’s not so hidden but I have been doing dance for 12 years and have won international competitions.

Name your top 3 favorite artist and why?

  1. Ed Sheeran - I like Ed Sheeran’s music because he uses sounds and lyrics to really make the listeners understand what he’s feeling.
  2. Khalid - I like Khalid because he’s very similar to Ed but his music is often more upbeat and adds a happier vibe to sad topics. 
  3. Lauv - I like Lauv’s music because the music in his songs is very unique and all of his songs are different. 

 

If you could interview any artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?

If I could interview any artist dead or alive I would interview Michael Jackson. I would interview him as he was such an influential artist in the music industry and really began a new era of music.

 

What is more important to you, music or lyrics? Why?

I believe that the lyrics are more important. I think they’re more important as they really reflect how the artist is feeling more than the music does and can create a deeper connection between the listener and the song.
