Meet Ross, a 28-year-old Spotify playlist curator from Edinburgh, Scotland.
“I created this playlist during my time at art school. It gave me an easy listening vibe while I worked on design projects. It was my interpretation of the old school Ministry of Sound chillout sessions.”
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
Diplo Cabaret Voltaire 2009. It was just after the release of his Decent Work for Decent Pay Album.
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
A pretty random mixture of my dad's classic rock Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and even some Brian Eno thrown into the mix. and then my mum's Van Morrison and James Taylor's cassettes.
Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
That is a tough one, I have many. I really enjoy Daft Punk's Discovery album. I'll listen to it when I'm cleaning the apartment, or when my mates are over before going on a night out. I also enjoy Bonobo's Black Sands.
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
George Michael. He seemed down to earth, had an amazing voice, and could adapt to really any form of music. He has had quite a varied life, think he would've been fascinating to interview.
