Músicas para Transar

Meet Rodolfo, a 35-year-old Spotify playlist curator from Porto Alegre, Brazil.
“I was trying to find some new sexy music, but I didn’t really find anything I liked. I decided to make my own playlist to share with all the couples who enjoy low lights and hot touches!”

If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be?

This is a hard question. I would love to interview either Alexandre Pires and/or Jay Kay.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I was a 2d/3d illustrator for a few years ago (2d since I was a kid). Now I consider myself a good filmmaker and VFX artist. Also, I can drink 8 negronis without passing out.

Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?

I enjoy playing Samba and Pagode. These rhythms are native to Brazil. I play Cavaco, pandeiro (Brazilian drum), banjo (a short version of the banjo you are thinking of), guitar and the rebolo.

Do you have a favorite quote?

I am used to saying "Nothing can prosper without fun".

What's more important to you: music or lyrics? Why?

Wow. Can I say both? I love the beat and the instruments, but the lyrics are very important to me as well. Good lyrics without a good beat can turn music into shit and the opposite is also true. Good lyrics don't save music entirely, but in my view, a good beat can! We have so many examples here in Brazil with a lot of shit lyrics with an amazing beat (Brazilian Funk).. so in my opinion music(the beat) is more important.
