Meet Abiel, a music lover and DJ from Oslo, Norway.
“I love a beat when I work out. And I couldn’t find one online, so I decided I needed to make one myself. I love the feeling of being “angry” while working out, you’re in a different state of mind and listening to genres such as pop, R&B or even Afropop is too happy for me. So I needed something with either hard lyrics or beats that gets me hyped when I workout.”
What is the soundtrack to your life?
Impossible question, don’t really have a life soundtrack. But always been a soft guy when it comes to R&B.
What is the most annoying song in the world?
A song made by a mumble rapper.
What’s more important to you? Music; or lyrics? Why?
I’d say a mixture. If you as an artist know how to feel the music, the lyrics will show that too. A lot of songs have a known intro or something that the masses recognize the second they hear it, and then the lyrics follow. And if the lyrics are easy to sing, you have the hit.
Don’t really have a favorite artist, music nowadays is more about the songs and not the artist I reckon. But, I have always liked Busta Rhymes, Michael Jackson, and the whole 90s R&B vibe.
If you had the chance to interview any artist, who would it be? (dead or alive)
The king of pop Michael Jackson. I got so many questions!!
Last concert you went to?
