Meet Michaela R. a 22-year-old from Nebraska.
“I am the definition of a Hopeless Romantic. I wanted to make a playlist that made me feel the feels. I wanted there to be a certain "aesthetic" to the songs picked, and I wanted this playlist to be my background music for my love life basically. When deciding if a song should go on the playlist, I ask myself if the lyrics made me feel something. Did they make me feel in love (whether I am at the moment or not), want to be in love, or remind me of love. Then I make sure you can slow dance to it, and the put it on the playlist! ”

Why Playlist?

I am the definition of a Hopeless Romantic. I wanted to make a playlist that made me feel the feels. I wanted there to be a certain "aesthetic" to the songs picked, and I wanted this playlist to be my background music for my love life basically. When deciding if a song should go on the playlist, I ask myself if the lyrics made me feel something. Did they make me feel in love (whether I am at the moment or not), want to be in love, or remind me of a love. Then I make sure you can slow dance to it, and the put it on the playlist!

If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?

I were a singer (and good at singing lol) I would love to collaborate with Gavin James. I love his style, and his voice actually gives me chills. Any man who can nail a falsetto is a winner in my eyes. He has a super chill vibe and I also really love his lyrics. A duet with him would be pretty nice. Also Jon Bellion. Watching how he writes music is super cool and I would just love to be a part of that. He is basically a genius

What is the best concert you've ever been to?

Hands down JohnnySwim. They are my favorite for so many reasons. They literally don't have a bad song on any of their albums so their concert was incredibly engaging and fun. They also are madly in love and have the most captivating and authentic chemistry on stage.

What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?

So much Relient K. All of the time. They were my first concert I ever went to and I still love them!!

Do you have a life slogan?

I always remind myself to have courage. Hard things require courage but courage is what molds us into who we are. Everyone's courage looks different and I feel like I am allowing myself to learn what my courage looks like.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I guess it isn't that hidden but I LOVE photography. I've owned my business for about 5 years and I love shooting weddings, seniors and just getting to know amazing people and capture their stories.
