Meet Marco Heutink, a 37-year-old from Frankfurt, Germany.

Name one of your favorite albums of all time?

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake would certainly be one of my top 10 albums of all time. This album offers superb melodies, many lyrical qualities and an amazing mix of musical influences.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would you choose?

I wouldn't recommend that to anyone! My passion is to find good music from the full spectrum that music has to offer. It is the variation that music has, which makes it such a wonderful means of communication. You can see that if you look at my playlists, there is so many beautiful stuff out there, and so much to discover and experience in music.

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to and why?

It's actually a festival I've been to, 'Le Guess Who?' in Utrecht (the Netherlands) in 2013. It had such a great lineup and I've been on a musical rollercoaster for days. I've seen some of the most amazing performances I've seen in my life there, from Olafur Arnalds, Mark Lanegan, Yo La Tengo, Scout Niblett to Thao + The Get down stay down, MV&EE and Damien Jurado.

Do you have a life slogan?

'One good thing about music is when it hits, you feel no pain' would be one of Bob Marley's lyrics that played a big role in my view on music. Music has the unique quality that it lets people communicate and connect on an emotional level.  For me, good music depends heavily on the amount of emotion it communicates. For me, that's more important than the artist, genre or the time it was composed.

What is the last song you listened to?

There, thereby Radiohead
