"I made this playlist to show my friends that these hip hop legends took samples from these old songs. A lot of my friends had no idea."
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?/ Where did you music influences come from?
My parents were big into broadway show tunes and I went to broadway shows on the regular. When I was 10 years old I started exploring hiphop myself and really found a love for underground hip hop with Talib Kweli and Mos Def.
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
2Pac. He had such an interesting and short life and I'd really like to hear his side of the story.
What is the last concert and best concert you’ve ever been to?
Most recent show I saw was The Roots and Salt-N-Pepa in Central Park.
Boys II Men was the first and best concert I've ever been to, my mom and my sister took me and it's one of my most important memories.
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?
DMX collaboration because it would go viral.

Juicy - Notorious B.I.G.
