Great music you never heard

Great music you never heard

Meet Christopher, 41 years old from Sweden!
“The aim when I started the playlist in 2013 was just a way to collect all the little nuggets of music I came across. At that time Spotify had this great feature were you could listen to popular and trending tracks that people referred to via Twitter (similar, but dare I say it, better than todays viral charts). It was just a cool way to find great music I've never heard before (phun intended). The playlist was private at first but after a while I made it public and sent it to friends. ”

What is the soundtrack to your life?

Hm, actually the soundtrack to Beverly Hills Cop is a great soundtrack to my life. I listened to it a lot growing up and was so amazed by the sound of Axel F (had it on repeat!) and still is to this day. This soundtrack is full circle for me!

Favorite artist?

Oh wow. Just one? Impossible. At the moment though - Toro y Moi :)

If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be? (Dead or alive)

David Bowie!

What is the best concert you have ever been to?

Jens Lekman at a festival in Stockholm 2007.

Do you have a favorite quote?

If I have to pick one it has to be this one by legend Bruce Lee: "Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Do you play any instruments? If not, any you would love to learn?

Sadly no...

Do you have a life slogan?

Don't get high on your own supply.

What is the most annoying song in the world?

One of them has to be Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65, sorry.

What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?

Music for sure.
