Meet Tom, 20 years old from Liverpool, England.
“Mainly for personal reasons, but I set it to the public when I saw it was kind of filling a gap in the market!”
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
I listened to a lot of commercial dance music growing up - when I was a kid in the 00s, a lot of sub-genres popped up in house music particularly and I always paid attention to that. As with every kid, though, I loved pop music. One of my favourite songs when I was a kid was 'Murder on the Dancefloor' by Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
A good, solid dance music album is a rare thing but 'Discovery' by Daft Punk ticks that box for me. 'Homework' is also incredibly solid.
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
Either Prince or Frankie Knuckles.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
I don't tend to go to a lot of concerts in the strictest sense of the word, but in terms of the DJs I've seen play Kerri Chandler at the Printworks in London last month is up there.
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?
I love Kaytranada's stuff at the moment I think he's brilliant.
