Electro posé

Meet Jean-Baptiste, a 34 year old Spotify Playlist Curator from Paris, now residing in New-Caledonia.
I made this playlist "Electro posé" because I like these 2 words together. "Posé" in French means laid or sedate; I was thinking to create my playlist with sounds I find cool, lounge, composed, possessed. And "electro" because there is electronic sounds in every one of the songs in this playlist. I created this playlist first of all for me, to bring together the music I used to like and the songs or artists I discover every month. I'm a new sound addict, I am constantly listening to new music every month. I was really surprised to see that every month more and more people I don't know were following my playlist!

What music did you grow up listening to?

English Rock (Pixies, Genesis, Dire Straits, Stones, Beatles), French songs (Starmania, Aznavour, Nougaro)

What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?

Bob Marley. More than a singer, he is a symbol of a fight for peace, freedom and unity!
Everywhere I go in the world I hear Bob Marley. Poor people, rich, young, old, I have the impression that this man and his songs talk to everyone, and will continue to do so for a very long time!

What is the best concert you've ever been to?

Manu Chao in Bercy around 2007. 4 hours of crazy, high energy, live music without any interruptions!

Do you have a life slogan?

We just have one life, and that is this one.

If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?

Ben Harper. I saw him in a concert, playing with his mom. It was so beautiful, the way they played together, looked and supported each other, and talked to us like we were all in the same family. It was a pure and rare moment that just music can give
