Meet Constanza, 25 years old from Chile.
“I made this playlist because its full of music that normally isn’t listened to in my country. The music is also less mainstream, and I think people liked that”
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I love electronic music because it frees you from the monotony of life. Electronic music lets you dance, sing, and escape your worries. I'm a big fan of The Prodigy because I'm I am very into that type of electro.
My favorite artists are Skrillex and Valentino Khan. I think their bass music is amazing and I really like dancing to their songs.
If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be? (Dead or alive)
Well, I like listening to all kinds of music, from electro to metal. One artist I would love to interview would be Keith Flint. Another would be the Prodigy because their music is more underground but they are extremely good. Valentino Valentino is also one of my favorites because their music makes me feel confident and empowered. However, I accept all types of music that inspire me.
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
I think in general, my favorite concert was going to see KORN because Jonathan Davis is my love haha. I love how he sings and although he is of the genre Nu-metal, which is far from the electronics, his voice is amazing.
Do you have a favorite quote?
"If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else? Can i get an amen up in here? - Rupaul" Thank you Rupaul for teaching me to love myself.
Do you play any instruments? If not, any you would love to learn?
I have never played any instruments, but I have been a singer for a long time. My favorite instruments are probably the bass and drums. Bass gives music depth, and drums give the music its rhythm.
Do you have a life slogan?
No hahaha, but if I did have to think of one it may be "No hairs on the tongue." It means that when I say things I am being direct and to the point.
What is the most annoying song in the world?
I think the genre that annoys me the most is trap. In Chile, trap is so mainstream that I just do not like it anymore. I feel like the lyrics and rhythm are always the same and just aren’t that interesting to me.
What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?
There are songs with no lyrics that are still spectacular, and there are songs that have amazing lyrics but not great music that are still great. It is too hard to pick a favorite when you are listening to music, I think it really depends on the genre. For example, Electronic music is composed of main;y sound and rhythm, and the important thing is that it entertains you enough to want to listen to it again. But when I listen to a song by Britney Spears, the words are the most important.
