Meet Evan Eckenrode otherwise known as "Dwarf Mamba," a 22-year-old from Maryland.
“I like spreading all types of artists/music especially artists who aren't that well known but are still very talented.”
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
If I had to choose an artist to interview it would be J.Cole because he is by far my favorite artist of all time and I believe one of the best lyrical artists of all time. When I watch his interviews he is a very well spoken person and very knowledgeable; so I think he would be the most interesting artist to interview.
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
Growing up as a kid, I listened to a lot of Metallica and Eminem, they were one of my two favorite artists growing up and still are. My first ever concert was actually Metallica, I was 11 years old.
Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?
The only instruments I ever played growing up were percussion instruments from the 4th grade to 8th grade. I played the snare drum, xylophone, triangle, timpani, tambourine, etc.
Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
One of my favorite albums of all time would have to be the Unplugged album by Alice in Chains. The fact that is recorded live is amazing and I think it sounds better than the original songs. It such a melodic album and Layne Staley is one of the most gifted artists to ever live.
What is your favorite quote?
One of my favorite quotes is "The way we judge ourselves is the worst judge that ever existed." -Don Miguel Ruiz
