Meet Kyle Gambrell, 36 years old from Denver.
“I was at Rothbury 2008, and my friend wanted to hold a disco dance party. He made it full of actual disco music. Bad disco music. So, I decided to make a playlist that had actual great funk music that could start a dance party at any time. All you would need to do was hit shuffle play and it was an automatic dance party.”

What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?
Music. Lyrics can be extremely meaningful, but even stupid lyrics can be great if they are made to be part of the music. The rhythm of the lyrics, the notes hit, the intonation, they all add to the music. And the music is what really hits you where it matters. The complexity, the groove, the beat, that's what makes me love music more than almost anything in the world.
