Meet Makenna Leann Addington, a 16 year old from Topeka, Kansas.
“I made a country playlist because I’ve been listening to country ever since I was little and I love all of the songs on my playlist. My friends and I always listen to country so I kept track of our favorites and put them into a playlist so we could enjoy them even when we weren’t together. Country music is a type of music that I can listen to when i’m happy, excited, sad, or anything, and it’s always been my go to.”
What music did you listen to growing up as a kid?
I grew up listening to Country.
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you love to collaborate with?
Luke Combs or Kane Brown, I listen to all of their songs and know almost every word to all of them!
Do you play an instrument? If no, what instrument would you love to learn?
I play the guitar.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
If you could interview any artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
Luke Combs because he makes music for different moods and I’ve always been able to count on his music for that. He’s a great artist and in my opinion he is the best.
What is more important to you, music or lyrics? Why?
The lyrics in a song are more important to me because if you don’t have good lyrics in a song it doesn’t seem right and doesn’t always turn out great. I feel like a lot of people listen to certain songs because they connect with the lyrics.
