Meet Helder Mundim, a 27-year-old design director from Brasília, Brazil.
Favorite album of all time:
I started producing music when I was 14 and was in a punk rock band. At that age, I was really deep into nu-metal/hardcore/punk rock/post-hardcore, and the album that impressed me the most was Sing the Sorrow by AFI. All the music in this album is powerful, unique and extremely creative. Also, there is a hidden song, I love that shit.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would you choose?
I would probably go mad listening to one song forever but today I would choose Mile High by James Blake, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin.
What is the best concert you've ever been to and why?
Gotan Project. I was really young when my aunt took me to that show, maybe 11 or 12, and it was my first contact with live electronic music. Mixed with tango. It impressed me so much because at that age I used to play cello and loved classical music. It was fascinating seeing people playing classical instruments that way.
What is the last song you listened to?
Chora Viola - ATTOOXXA
It's axé music. You should hear it, it's on my playlist.
Do you play any instruments?
Cello, Guitar, Bass, drums and keyboard just a little.
Do you have a life slogan?
"Yes you can", that's my mantra. I believe I can achieve anything if I believe in it and work my ass off. I can draw, I can act, I can play, I can paint, I can produce, I can do much more.
