Meet Steven, 29 years old from the United States.
“I work for the #1 Christian Rap website in the world. I help curate The Rapzilla Playlist to showcase and give exposure to all the artists who are making excellent quality art in our niche genre. Also to put a spotlight on songs with a good message and give a platform to songs that address an important topic.”
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
The music I can remember listening to the earliest was Pop with groups like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Then I started getting into R&B and Rock. In my teens is when my Dad introduced me to Rap/Hip-Hop. That grew into a love of all genres of music that I have today.
Name one of your favorite albums of all time?
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly. The musicality of that album is incredible. Another album is from a friend mine who goes by Jay Atoms called 'lightmares.' I've never heard an album concept put together so well from start to finish.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
None come to mind, but I've watched a lot of Kanye concert videos and if I ever was able to attend one I'm 100% sure that would be my answer.
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you like to collaborate with?
Usher Raymond, he is the king of R&B in my opinion.
Name your top 3 favorite artist and why?
I like different artists for different reasons so I never have a rank that is solidified in my mind.
