Broken Hearted Melodies

Broken Hearted Melodies </3

Meet Lydia, a 31 year old Spotify playlist curator from Staten Island..
“I made this playlist because of a broken heart. There were many stages of that. I had some sad days, some grateful days - to be myself and run my life the way I want, some feisty days (girl power) and then some peaceful days where I reflected that every relationship that you come across may hurt when it's over, but you learn and grow from it. ”

Tell me a little about yourself - Do you make music? Why do you love music?

I don't make music but I do love to write. Perhaps I'll come up with the nerve to put some of it out there one day. I love music because it helps me with any emotional times whether I'm extremely happy, sad, anxious or just want to relax. I have a song for every mood to keep me on my toes.

What is the best concert you have attended?

Hmmm. Tough one. Super tough. I can't exactly choose one, I still have so many more to attend. Can I get a rain check on this one?

Name a song that has been on 'repeat'

Oh boy another tough one. You guys are good! Well right now I'm in Paramedic School and I find a lot of motivation in this oldie but goodie: Keep Your Head Up by Andy Grammer.

Name an artist that you have just discovered

Mt. Joy. A coworker put me on and I'm addicted. Thanks Kris! <3

If you were an artist, who would you love to collaborate and make music with?

Sam Smith or Luke Bryan I feel like we could really have something good going.
What song do you know the words to, but hate to listen to?
She used to be mine - Sara Bareilles
