Meet Rob Werkowski, a 31 year old from Tolland, Connecticut.
"I was going through a breakup and realized most country music was gut-wrenchingly sad - so I made a playlist that focused on a positive, uplifting 'carrying on' type of vibe. It blossomed into a whole lot more from there.”
If you were a singer, what current living artist would you love to collaborate with?
Luke Combs - couldn't imagine anything better than crushing beers during a song writing sesh with him.
Do you play an instrument? If no, what instrument would you love to learn?
I tried to teach myself how to play guitar but just didn't have the skill level needed - nothing better than popping out a guitar for an impromptu jam session.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
STAGECOACH 2019 - Luke Bryant, Luke Combs, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion and Jason Aldean songs have a whole new light to them for me now.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Finding up and coming Bro Country artists and songs you've never heard of.
What is more important to you, music or lyrics? Why?
Lyrics that are written by the specific artist. The music has no meaning if the person singing it didn't write it. Country music is about connecting to the story of the song, and it means nothing if it isn't genuine.
