Baby girl, what's yo name?

Meet Kaylee, a 20 year old Spotify playlist curator from Birmingham, Alabama…
“My name is Kaylee Parrott, I am a Realtor here in Birmingham, Alabama. I love my job, it keeps me busy and honestly, there’s never a dull moment. I love helping people accomplish their goals of home ownership! When I’m not working I love cooking, being outdoors, spending time with my husband and family, playing with our pets, and of course, jamming out to music!”

When & why did you make your playlist?

I made this playlist sometime in 2015 because a lot of these songs really take me back. This playlist is made up of a lot of 2000’s hits and favorites that I grew up listening to. A lot of songs on this playlist are ones I remember listening to on the radio and “Now That’s What I Call Music” CD’s back in the day- when there were less than 20 volumes! This playlist is truly one of my favorites that I have made and continue to add to.

Describe your playlist. Perfect situation(s) for jamming include:

This playlist is the perfect pick me up. It just feels good! It’s the perfect track for when I’m not sure what I’m feeling. It’s the best playlist to get ready to- any girl can agree that a little Fergie helps set the mood while getting ready for a night out! If you ever see me in traffic dancing and singing in my car, it’s probably because I’m listening to this playlist!

What was the best concert you've ever attended and why? (Include as many details as you'd like: city / venue / when / with whom...)

What is the BEST concert I’ve ever attended?! This is a tough one because I am into so many different genres... If I had to choose, it would probably be Avenged Sevenfold’s “The Stage World Tour” in 2018 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN with Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine. Those 3 bands are definitely in my top 5 favorite rock/metal bands. That list also insides Metallica which I saw in 2017 at Suntrust Park in Atlanta, GA. (Avenged Sevenfold was a special guest on that tour!) now that was an amazing-once in a lifetime experience! I would have to rank it 2nd only because A7x’s concert included 3 of my favorite bands.

Another wonderful concert I saw was Jesse McCartney earlier this year (2019) at Iron City in Birmingham, Al. Jesse McCartney was absolutely amazing, it was truly a childhood dream come true. He looked gorgeous, sounded gorgeous, everything was just gorgeous. I was so impressed, honestly taken away.

What kind of music / artists did you grow up listening to?

I love all sorts of genres and have grown up listening to everything from 2000’s hits like what’s featured in this playlist. Any time anyone has ever wanted me to describe my music taste, all I could ever say is that I love everything. I listen to anything all the way from alternative/classic/ any-kind-of rock, metal, country, classical music, pop, punk, pop-punk, oldies from the 50’s, the list goes on. Seriously. On any given day. I just really love music.

Who are your all-time favorite artists and why?

My all-time favorite artist(s) would have to be John Mayer, Gwen Stefani, Queen... a lot of others I’ll probably regret not mentioning. There’s so many talented artists I love, it’s hard to choose!
