Meet Eddie, from Sweden.
“I wanted to make a playlist which had a certain type of music which I liked. Even if playlists had something similar, they never truly had what I was looking for. So I simply made my own playlist. ”
What music did you grow up listening to as a young kid?
I've always listened to what my parents were listening to. That'd would be for example Elán or any sort of slovak's folklore. Pavol Hammel was also going strong in our family. Once I've started to choosing my own music, I was strongly influenced by my cousin, who listened to metal. I'd therefore say that music of my younger years is basically everything.
Do you play any instruments? If no, which instrument do you wish you could play?
Yes and no. I've played violin, that's what I started with. Then I switched to viola. This was the last instrument I've played actively. Nowadays, I tried to put myself into a guitar or bass, but somehow I didn't find enough passion and time for that, rather I focused on sports. Maybe later in the future I'll pick it up again.
Do you have a life slogan?
The most important project is yourself. Make it a Great One. That's the main one I use to look up to each time anything feels hard, but really there is plenty of slogans I tend to use, maybe some of there are quotes as well.
What artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
Marek Brezovsky, that is a big talent we lost back in 1994. His music is so, fulfilling I don't know. I'd be definitely curious to find out what his ideas were and how did he compose music. Such a huge talent.
Name your top 3 favorite artist and why?
First of all that's Foo Fighters, I just can connect with their music. I can't explain why this is so, important to me. Next ones are Queen, that is mainly for Freddie and his mastering of the singing craft. And third is rather hard, since I like more artists on the same level there. This would include Guns N' Roses, RHCP, Eagles, Scorpions, Led Zeppelin, Green Day and others.
