Meet Pablo, a 18 year old Spotify playlist curator from Bilbao, Spain.
“...I took the initiative of creating something that could gather from acoustic covers to acoustic songs based out of mixes out of two or three songs or some folk masterpieces that I really loved. My aim was never to create a playlist with a lot of followers but rather to connect with each person that listened to my music choices and create a nice combination of acoustic music. ”

What music did you listen to growing up?

I mainly listened to alternative and indie songs that I found on the web, new artists and all kinds of indie and alternative music.

What is your favorite quote?

“Poetry is what happens when nothing else can” from Charles Bokowski."

If you could interview any artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?

I would interview Canserbero; a dead Hispanic rapper who really arose a big empathic feeling with his lyrics inside of me. I think that’s like magic, isn’t it? He describes the poet as the person with the challenge of writing with words the most beautiful thing that’s ever been wrote. That’s the challenge of the poet, and he truly did.

Who do you want to see live in concert before you die?

I’ve seen an indie group called Kakkmaddafakka live in concert, and I never though a concert could be so exciting. It’s not really known or at least it wasn’t when I saw them live but it’s amazing how they connect with their audience and their “I don’t care what people might think” style.

Who are your more recent favorite artists?

I’ve been listening to blink 182 quite a lot recently.

Why do you like listening to playlists?

Because they match my mood more accurately than song-based radios as they are made by other users rather than a statistics based match system. They capture the songs that made them feel that certain way and it’s also a great way of discovering great new songs.

What genre of music is your favorite to listen to?

I’d say it’s alternative, although I’m not settled on one single genre, good music is good no matter in which genre it is supposed to fit.
