Meet Taylor, a 14 year old Spotify playlist curator from Salt Lake City, Utah.
“ I was in high school in the 90’s and was sitting with some friends listening to different songs. One after another we kept playing songs we loved from that era that we thought the others had forgotten about. This list was born from that conversation.”
What music did you listen to growing up?
My first memory of music is Queen, evolved to pop (Michael Jackson) and punk in the 80s, late 80s evolved to glam rock and metal, early 90s to grunge, back to punk rock, mid-2000s I expanded my horizons to basically every kind of music.
What is your favorite quote?
"Most people think I'm a loser, when, in reality, I'm a winner with realistic goals."
If you could interview any artist, dead or alive, who would you interview and why?
Probably James Hetfield. He's seen a lot and probably has some fantastic stories.
Who do you want to see live in concert before you die?
There are a few artists who are dead that I wish I would have been able to see, but everyone who is still alive I have seen.
Who are your more recent favorite artists?
Rancid is my all-time favorite. My favorite newer artist is the Interrupters.
