Meet Heitor Lobo, 31 years old from Brazil.
“I made this playlist just to check out in the future the top songs of 2018. I am doing it for 2019 too and I pretend to do it and I'm planning to do for other past years too, sometimes it's nice to remember some good songs of our lifes.”

What is the soundtrack to your life?
Although my playlists are more concentrated in English speaking artists, the soundtrack to my life is the Album 'Acabou Chorare' from the brazilian band 'Novos Baianos', particularly the song 'Mistério do Planeta'
Favorite artist?
The Beatles, and in my country I really love Chico Buarque and Tim Maia
If you had the chance to interview an artist, who would it be? (Dead or alive)
I would like to interview any of The Beatles, specially John and George, but any great artist from the 60's or 70's would be awesome to have a chance to interview
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
In march of this year Paul McCartney came to Brazil, it was very important to me to see him alive. I've been in a Roger Waters concert last year that was phenomenal and a david Gilmour's one that was really great too.
Do you have a favorite quote?
I read one from C.S. Lewis a few days ago that I really loved. "Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.". It's a quote that show us that depreciating yourself it's not a way to show that you are a nice person, what makes us great individuals is to really care about the other ones.
Do you play any instruments? If not, any you would love to learn?
I play some guitar and bass. I had a blues and rock band in the past, but time passes and now I just play for myself and I'm learning a little bit of keyboards.
Do you have a life slogan?
Do things with love, love will guide you to the right things and right persons.
What is the most annoying song in the world?
I don't know. Sometimes annoying songs are kinda funny, like 'Friday'. It's annoying, I can't hear it too much, but it's fun like a meme. Actually, when a song or a style that I don't like is played so many times I think it's annoying. Here in Brazil we have a famous style called 'Sertanejo', it's similar to country, but I think the vocals are different, I don't like it, but it's okay to listen to one song, but if it is playing for more than five songs I get annoyed.
What’s more important to you? Music; or Lyrics? Why?
Music is more important to me. One may have the hability to write great lyrics, dense, well written, pure poetry, but if it doesn't come with great music it's way worse than a song with poor lyrics (By the way, I love the song 'Hocus Pocus' by Focus, a song without vocals but no lyrics at all), and one should write the lyrics down publish it, sell a book of poetry, that it's nice too. And great music for me is not the one with great technical attributes, but the one with a good connection with the emotions. If you combine great musical hability, emotions and creative lyrics you have a masterpiece.
